Vicksburg Hiatus

Sounds like it might be fun, and I will admit I have enjoyed my adventures, but I miss being here. Here are a few pictures, most are of the people, not the places. Stay tuned for more as my internet access overlaps with my jet lag in the next leg of the journey.

Missing the Keys

I finally began eating some of the fish I brought back, and then I found some pictures on my camera. Michelle, Steve and the boys are back in Canada. These pictures were from my last day, they had story time at the library and made custom fish which didn't last long in the hands of small boys. I am thrilled I was able to visit them in their temporary home on Islamorada!

Surprisingly, he had no response. I was disappointed he didn't smile, but at least he didn't cry.

Weekend in the Big D

Road trip weekend to Dallas to visit with friends and shop for the new house. Every month there is a large outdoor flea market in Canton, TX. Turns out I was a little overwhelmed with the idea of furnishing a house, so I picked around and bought small things. The other girls had more luck, and the people watching was out of control. This magnetic coolie was probably my most exciting purchase.

I feel I will be much more productive in the fall, as we are planning to regroup for the Round Top antique extravaganza outside of Houston, TX. Who's in?
