Arms full!

My cousin Hope recently have birth to beautiful twin boys, Reid and Kane. We got to meet them on our recent trip to TN! There is no causal relationship between this picture and the previous post about getting engaged. 

Memorial Weekend

We set out for TN, with the intention of seeing my family and enjoying my home state for the long weekend. Along the way, we found a few more memorial moments. After meeting with my parents, and discussing the notion of getting married, this beautiful ring appeared and made the notion a LOT more real. I was ready for the chat with the folks, but the ring caught me by surprise. BIG TIME!

We set out to celebrate be touring around Nashville and found the Village Pub and the Pharmacy for some locally made food and drink. I could go on and on here, but I won't. Nashville's craft beer scene is something to be experienced first hand. Please go!

The next morning we feasted at Noshville Deli and attended mass at the Cathedral on West End.

Forced my hand

Home Depot gave a 4 hr window for delivery of a dishwasher that took 15 min. So with the afternoon at home, the pooch and I rearranged furniture, brewed a beer, pitched the new tent and enjoyed a warm spring day.

Compost Companion

Good to see this guy this morning! I always anticipate seeing him in the compost pile, but he was done with his morning meal and headed across the yard. The other leg less reptiles have yet to show themselves. Thankfully!
